A New kind of World..

Things change... and today change more frequently than never.

MTV must fight against.... Joost..

In fact I preferred Joost... because I´m the producer of my own Music Program.

There is no Hard Disk Driver requirement to install the Express version of Photoshop.

Obvious... there is nothing to install....

Something the industry start to call Software as a Service + the new client server model called AJAX + Broadband services make Photoshop-Express possible.

The News TV programs have more columnist than never before.

You will found that every TV channel is talking about you... The TV and the People... Is important that you feel this feeling of belong to the TV... you must feel as part of the TV just because you are the cheapest journalist in the world... Take a look as the Argentinian phenomeno: TN y la Gente

Design Matters more than never...

Is incredible... I totally believe in design, people pay more for beauty things but I never imagine that this could apply to a Nintendo DS. If you want to be unique having a unique Nintendo DS you can taste it at Nintendo World @ NYC or check it online here

I´m not sure if is a better one (there are lot of bad things not covering in this post)... but I´m pretty sure is different.

Toastmaster Expirience: What do you enjoy most?

Where did this question came from?, Well, I'll tell you the story behind the question.

Couple of weeks ago, I was on vacations (Maui and NYC were the destinations).

On Maui a bought lot of books not availables in Argentina (or if avialable, they are a translated version... generally the translations are very poor). Which books? :

- Presentation Zen (Garr Reynolds).

- The Art of the Start (Guy Kawasaki).

- Made to Stick (Heath brothers).

- The paradox of Choice (Barry Schwartz).

- The Innovator's Dilemma (Clayton M. Christensen)

Off course I enjoy reading this kind of books, but we need to go a little further before we find the reason of this entry's title.

Presentation Zen is a very interesting book, plenty of good examples and tips to make a presentation a good experience for the presenter and the audience.

One of the recommendations was: Look for a Toastmasters' Club near your neighborhood.

I did it. And last week I was a guest on a Toastmasters session.

Was a new experience, a very good one which begins with an exercise: you should answer in no less than 45 seconds and no more than a minute: This Q:  What  do you enjoy most?.

Just a question but not a trivial one, and the answers of the great people present in the meeting make my first Toastmaster experience a memorable one.

I will not tell you more about this sessions, I will just ask you the same Garr Reynols recommend me: find a club near your house and join it (at least as a guest).

Virtual World with Real Frontiers

Some people thinks there are no frontiers in the virtual world.

But, believe me, frontiers exist even in plain worlds like the www.

The entire web continuously tried to profile you in order to gave you a "best experience"... so if you are from Argentina and try to participate in Pandora, the music genome project... you will get a picture like the one I pasted in this post.

Offcourse is not a claim to Pandora, is just to gave you an example of how you could be profiled and how to enforce frontiers in a virtual world.

You Tube is also a time machine

Youtube is probably one of the biggest boombing technologies for share experiences between web users.

But is not only about sharing stuff, is more than that, is an incredible Time Machine.

If you are a guitar player you probably studied the Cello Suite No.1 from J. S Bach.

Believe it or not you can listen Andrés Segovia´s interpretation in YouTube... hence YouTube is not only future fancy Web 2.0 technology, is also an incredible Time Machine.
